Turkey Barley Mushroom Stew |

Concocted to quell a craving for Barley Soup. It ended up being more of a stew, but this is really good and satisfying. Ingredients:
4 cups turkey |
2 cups barley |
18 ounces whole mushrooms |
1 large potato |
10 baby carrots |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1 tablespoon chervil |
2 teaspoons salt |
16 cups water |
Directions:
1. Place Barley in pot, add 4 cups water. 2. Place rest of ingredients in pot and add 4 Cups water more. 3. Add water as needed as stew thickens. 4. This can be made in a crock pot, too. 5. Simmer 2 hours. |
