These make a great lunch. If you would like to make ahead, bake these sandwiches and then cool and wrap well. Place in an insulated lunch bag for a special lunch treat. You could also substitute slices of cooked ham instead of turkey. Recipe is adapted from Pillsbury. Ingredients:
1 (10 1/8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls (big&flaky recommended) |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
6 ounces cooked deli turkey, thinly sliced |
3 ounces swiss cheese, thinly sliced |
6 slices bacon, precooked |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Unroll dough on work surface; separate into triangles. 3. Spread each triangle with 1 t mayonnaise. 4. Top each with turkey, cheese and bacon, cutting to fit if necessary. 5. Roll up loosely as directed on can. 6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; curve into crescent shapes. 7. Bake 21-23 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. |
