A simple supper dish Ingredients:
4 oz turkey, minced |
1/2 apple, grated |
1 oz onion, finely chopped |
1/2 tsp oregano |
1 salt and pepper |
1 tomato, sliced |
2 oz lettuce, shredded |
1/4 oz cheese, sliced |
2 oz (wholemeal) bread, roll |
Directions:
1. Heat a non-stick frying pan and spray with cooking spray. Cook the finely chopped onion for a few minutes until softened and golden. 2. Combine the cooked onion with the turkey mince, grated apple and seasoning. Mix well and form into a patty. 3. Cook the patty in the same non-stick frying pan for several minutes each side until cooked through. 4. Serve inside a wholemeal bread roll with some sliced tomato, sliced cheese and shredded lettuce |
