This is a delicious recipe from my Mom's collection - so good!! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs cauliflower, broken into flowerets |
salt |
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen brussels sprouts |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup nonfat milk |
1 (9 1/2 ounce) can tuna in water, drained and flaked |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon white pepper |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/2 teaspoon msg |
Directions:
1. Cook cauliflower in lightly salted water until tender-crisp, 8-10 minutes. 2. Cook Brussels sprouts according to package directions. Drain vegetables and keep warm. 3. Melt butter and blend in flour. While stirring, add milk and cook until thickened. 4. Pour lemon juce over tuna. Add tuna and seasonings to white sauce. 5. Arrange cooked vegetabels on a heated platter; pour tuna mixtuere on top and sprinkle with paprika. |
