A little different delicious variation of a tuna salad sandwich. This recipe comes from Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook. The recipe was submited my Sherry Hyatt of Kingsport, TN The recipe says it serves 8, but I usually only get four sandwiches out of a single recipe Ingredients:
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked |
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1 dash pepper |
16 slices rye bread |
Directions:
1. In a bowl combine the tuna, cheese, celery, onion, mayonnaise, sour cream, and pepper. 2. Spread on the bread and serve at once. |
