This is a recipe I obtained from a co-worker. She brought these delights to a pot luck and everyone loved them. Ingredients:
6 ounce can solid white tuna in water drained and flaked |
1/3 cup diced celery |
2 tablespoons salad dressing |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon dried dill |
8 slices whole wheat bread |
Directions:
1. Combine tuna and diced celery in a bowl and toss gently. 2. Combine salad dressing, lemon juice and dill stirring well. 3. Add to tuna mixture tossing gently. 4. Trim crusts from bread and flatten each slice of bread to 1/8 inch thickness using a rolling pin. 5. Spread 2 tablespoons tuna mixture evenly over each slice. 6. Roll up and wrap in plastic wrap. |
