Based on a recipe from Flavors , a San Antonio Junior League cookbook. Ingredients:
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can solid white tuna |
1 1/2 teaspoons mustard |
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 1/2 teaspoons onion salt |
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped |
3 english muffins, split and toasted |
6 tomatoes, slices |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Mis the first six ingredients and mound onto muffins. Top with tomato slices. 2. Combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise and cheese; spread over sandwiches. 3. Broil until they puff. |
