A great quick casserole that's real tasty and serves well over rice (my favorite), bread, noodles, etc. Also great for storing and reheating in the microwave - mix the rice throughout and add some water for best reheating results. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons chopped onions |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
3 tablespoons bisquick |
1/2 teaspoon salt (if tuna is in oil, use 1/4 tsp salt) |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 (6 ounce) can tuna |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion and celery in butter. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Blend in Bisquick and salt. 4. Add milk. 5. Cook and stir until thick. 6. Blend in tuna and heat through. |
