This recipe is from the famous Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House in Savannah, GA. it is extremely easy to prepare from readily obtainable ingredients. Ingredients:
2 cups canned tuna, drained |
1 (10 1/4 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup |
3 cups milk |
1 tablespoon grated onion |
1 small bay leaf |
chopped fresh parsley |
1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained |
1 tablespoon butter |
black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine the potato soup, milk, onion, bay leaf, butter and pepper and simmer the mixture for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Add the corn and the tuna and heat, but do not boil. Remove the bay leaf and serve. |
