I know, it doesn't sound like it would be good no matter what is put in it, but it is. My whole family loves this recipe, as my mom put it, Economical, but very tasty! . Ingredients:
1 (170 g) can canned tuna |
2 tablespoons onions |
1 tablespoon green pepper |
3/4 cup cooked peas |
1 (10 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
1/3 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
4 large potatoes |
4 tablespoons butter or 4 tablespoons margarine |
1/4 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish. 2. Top with whipped, creamed potatoes. 3. Sprinkle a little paprika (approx. 1/4 tsp) and parsley on top of potatoes if desired. 4. Brown under broiler. (I use a gas stove, so it takes approximately 15-20 minute for mine to brown). |
