A good freezer recipe when made with a mayo substitute - no pre-cooking needed. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/4 cups mayonnaise (or mayo substitute if freezing) |
2 cups breadcrumbs |
1 (15 ounce) can peas and carrots or 1 (15 ounce) can carrots, drained |
1 cup green pepper, chopped |
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped |
14 ounces tuna, drained (or 2 6oz cans) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix all moist ingredients and spices. 3. Open canned ingredients, mix gently, then add to moist mixture. 4. Bake in casserole dish for 20-30 minutes. |
