This is my mum's creation, and is simple and easy to make. These are basically tuna melts but made in the oven. Ingredients:
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained |
1 stalk celery, diced |
1/2 cup onion, diced |
1/2 cup shredded colby cheese |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
salt and pepper |
6 large hamburger buns or 12 small hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix together all ingredients except buns. 3. Fill buns with mixture. 4. Place in 9 x 13 pan, cover with foil. 5. Bake 15 minutes and let cool. |
