Tuna - Bacon Souffle

This is from my Mom's recipe cards. I have not tried this recipe.
Ingredients:
8 slices bacon, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
6 egg yolks
1/2 cup canned mushroom, drained
1/4 cup parsley, snippets
6 egg whites
1 tablespoon bacon drippings
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. Place bacon drippings in skillet.
2. Add onion and celery to skillet.
3. Cook until vegetables are crisp and tender.
4. Set aside.
5. Heat butter in pan.
6. Stir in flour, salt, basil and pepper.
7. Heat until bubbly.
8. Slowly add milk.
9. Stirring to blend.
10. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
11. Boil one minute.
12. Remove from heat.
13. Beat yolks until thick.
14. Spoon in hot sauce.
15. Beat thoroughly after each addition.
16. Add worcestershire, bacon, onion, celery, tuna, mushrooms and parsley.
17. Mix well.
18. Beat whites until stiff peaks.
19. Spoon tuna sauce over whites.
20. Carefully fold together until JUST blended.
21. Turn mixture into an ungreased dish.
22. Spread evenly.
23. Bake at 350 degrees 40 minutes or until done.
24. Serve immediately.
