Tuna and Green Apple Mousse |

1 (6 ounce) can tuna |
1 shallot |
1/2 apple |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
1/4 cup cilantro |
1/4 cup ricotta cheese |
1/4 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Taste and adjust the seasoning. (Alternatively, finely chop the ingredients and combine with a fork). Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for 30 minutes, or up to a day. Stir, and serve with rye crackers, thin slices of baguette, or vegetable sticks. |
