1/3 cup whipping cream |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons granulated sugar |
4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares |
24 maraschino cherries, with stems |
6 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares |
Directions:
1. Combine cream, butter and sugar; bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat; add chocolate. Stir until melted. Chill mixture until firm enough to handle, 3 to 4 hours. Wrap each cherry in about 1 teaspoon truffle mixture. Chill Chocolate Coating. Partially melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat and continue stirring until completely melted. Dip cherries in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper lined tray. Chill to set chocolate. |
