a very good recipe for a very light sponge cake!
Ingredients:
200 ml sifted cake flour
1 ml salt
5 seperated eggs
200 ml sugar
15 ml lemon juice
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. beat egg whites with half the sugar in one bowl
3. beat yolks with the rest of the sugar in another bowl
4. beat in lemon juice into yolks
5. fold the yolks into the whites
6. sift 1/4 flour into egg mixture, mix
7. mix in the rest of the flour gradually in 3 parts
8. spoon into pan
9. bake for 35-40 minutes
