broiled ham and eggs w/cheese this can be set up friday night and broiled saturday morning..its a fast get away breakfast Ingredients:
broiled sourdough bread thick sliced ( 6 pieces) |
6 hard boiled eggs (peeled) |
6 slices of thin deli style smoked ham skillet fried and left to cool |
colby cheese ( 1lb) sliced thinly |
sheet of tin foil |
cookie sheet |
Directions:
1. set tin foil on cookie sheet 2. take previously broiled sourdough bread and cover with chese slices. 3. set on tin foil 4. slice each hard boiled egg in half and lay ontop of cheese.. slice eggs on long axis 5. cover each set of egg halves with one slice of deli ham 6. cover ham with thin layer of cheese slices 7. set directly under broiier and leave it until bread starts to soak up melted cheese 8. this is served open faced |
