I got this recipe from a can of evap. milk- It is so good! Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix |
1 can evaporated milk |
2 large eggs |
1 can crushed pineapple in juice- drained very well- juice reserved |
1/2c slivered almonds |
3/4c sifted powdered sugar |
1c flaked coconut |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Combine cake mix, evaporated milk and eggs 3. Beat on low 2 minutes 4. Stir in 1 cup pineapple 5. Pour batter into 13x9 pan 6. Sprinkle with almonds 7. Bake 30-35 minutes 8. Combine powdered sugar and 2T pineapple juice 9. Mix until smooth 10. Spread over warm cake 11. Sprinkle with coconut and remaining pineapple 12. Cool completely before serving. |
