This recipe comes from my Aunt Norma. She and my Uncle Dale moved to Colorado Springs a number of years ago and I am so thankful for email as it is how we keep in touch! She got this recipe from Electric Bread . It is for bread machines. This makes a large loaf. cook time is a guesstimate as bread machines are all different. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups water |
3 cups white bread flour |
2 tablespoons dry milk |
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup mixed dried fruit |
2 teaspoons fast rise yeast (or 3 tsp active dry yeast) |
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients into your bread machine pan in the order suggested by your machines manual. Mine is we first, dry on top. 2. Bake as you would a white bread or sweet bread (depending upon what your machine has). Crust setting per your choice. |
