I can say that it would NEVER serve 18 in our house... you be the judge. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh (or frozen and thawed) blackberries |
1 1/2 cups fresh (or frozen and thawed) raspberries |
1 1/2 cups fresh (or frozen and thawed) blueberries |
or |
4 1/2 cups berry of your choice |
4 tablespoons white sugar |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 cups rolled oats |
1 1/2 cups pack brown sugar |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 1/2 cups cold butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Toss together the berries and white sugar in a large bowl. 3. Set aside. 4. In separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. 5. Cut in butter until crumbly. 6. **I would do the preceding two steps in a food processor. 7. Press half the flour mixture onto the bottom of a 9x13x2 pan. 8. Cover with berries. 9. Sprinkle remaining crumble mixture over berries. 10. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes OR until fruit is bubbly and topping golden brown. |
