If you like Black Forest cakes dripping with cherries and whipped cream then this is the dessert for you. Another simple layered dessert that combines chocolate, cherries and whipped cream that is so simple to put together that a child could make this. Read more . Enjoy! Ingredients:
1 prepared chocolate cake mix, made according to the manufacturer's instructions, cooled and cut into two inch cubes |
2 containers of cool whip, thawed or 4 cups fresh whipped heavy cream |
2 cans of cherry pie filling |
1 chocolate bar, shaved |
Directions:
1. Layer in the following order:
2. Cake
3. Cherry Filling
4. Whipped Cream or Cool Whip
5. The last layer should be whipped cream /Cool Whip.
6. Sprinkle the chocolate shavings over the final layer of cream and serve.
