Got this from a synagogue newsletter over 30 years ago. Have been making it ever since. Once people try it, they beg me for the recipe. Ingredients:
4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
3 cups sugar |
1 cup cocoa |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons coffee, in |
2 cups water |
1 1/2 cups oil |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients.
2. Add the rest, mix well.
3. Pour into 8 x11 pan.
4. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
