You can also use this sauce on pork chops or chicken pieces. I've always used this recipe for spare ribs, and it turns out so good. I got this recipe at a cooking class quite a long time ago. Ingredients:
2 (4 1/2 ounce) jars peach baby food |
1/3 cup catsup |
1/3 cup vinegar |
4 lbs meaty spareribs |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients for sauce. 2. Rub ribs on both sides with salt. 3. Place ribs, meat side up in a foil-lined shallow pan. 4. Bake in a hot oven 450 for 15 minutes. 5. Spoon off fat. 6. Pour sauce over ribs. 7. Continue baking in a 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done, basting several times with the sauce. |
