Treacle drizzled pork chops so moist you'll be licking your plate! (*Note: Molasses can be used in place of the Treacle but I prefer the dark taste of the real thing.) Ingredients:
2 pork chops (bone-in) |
4 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 fennel bulb (chopped) |
2 -4 tablespoons treacle |
Directions:
1. Heat Olive Oil in a non-stick frying pan till warm add the chopped fennel and fry to infuse the oil with the flavor. 2. Remove the fennel and set aside. 3. Add the pork chops and sear both sides. Then turn down the heat to low and put 1-2 Tbs. of the Treacle on pork chop. Flip and add the same amount of Treacle on this side. Cover and let simmer about 20-30 minutes until pork chops are done. (If you don't have a cover for your pan a piece of tin foil will do.). 4. When the pork chops are done remove to rest on a plate, turn the heat up to med-high and add the fennel. Cook down to a sauce, stirring constantly. Serve over the pork chops immediately. |
