Trail Mix Granola Muffins |

Loaded with all sorts of good things. Makes a good breakfeast on the run. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk |
1 cup granola cereal |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup melted butter |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 egg, beaten |
1 apple, peeled and grated |
2 cups flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped peanuts |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/4 cup wheat germ |
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl combine milk, granola, sugar, butter, molasses, egg and apple blend well. 2. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients. 3. Add milk mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. 4. Spoon into 18 lined or greased muffin cups. 5. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. |
