This recipe is great for cut-out cookies for Christmas Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 cup butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg in a small dish. 2. Cream the butter and sugar in a large dish, blend in the sour cream and then add dry ingredients. 3. Chill for 1 to 2 hours. 4. Roll out the dough until it is 1/2 inch thick on a sugar and floured surface. 5. Cut with the cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet. 6. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. 7. Cool before icing. |
