This is a Chinese rice pudding, traditionally eaten for breakfast. Also used holistically to detox system-and promote healthy digestion. Ingredients:
1 cup brown rice |
9 cups water |
1/5 cup fresh ginger root |
1/2 cup mung beans |
Directions:
1. bring 8-10 cups of water to a boil 2. pour in 1 cup brown rice, 1/5 cup of fresh ginger, and half cup of mung beans. 3. Reduce to simmer and cook for three hours. |
