Dinner Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef, lean |
1 pound ground pork, lean |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
3 tablespoons dried parsley |
1/4 cup chopped onions |
1 tablespoon dried basil |
1 1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/3 pound bacon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except bacon. Using hands, blend well. Place meat in a 9 inch pie plate and shape into an oval loaf. Cover with bacon slices. Bake 1 1/2 hours Carefully remove meatloaf from pie plate and place on cutting board to carve. |
