From the New Orleans Times Picayune Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
4 large eggs, beaten |
4 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup nuts or 1/2 cup shredded coconut |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350oF. 2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. 3. Pour batter into a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. 4. Bake 25 - 30 minutes. |
