I got this recipe from my cousin in Nevada. Eating these reminded me of when my grandmother made homemade tortillas. Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour |
1/3 cup powdered milk |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
2 tablespoons melted crisco |
1 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Mix and Knead. 2. Form small balls. 3. Roll out on a floured surface. 4. I fry them on a cast iron griddle thing that fits over the burner. |
