Tortilla Soup without sourcream or chips Ingredients:
12 ounces chicken |
29 ounce canned tomatos |
15 oz of black beans, do not drain. |
16 oz. of fresh salsa |
Directions:
1. Layer ingredients in the crock pot. Put on high for an hour and then reduce to low for an additional 6 or 7 hours. That's it. 2. Take out the breasts, shred them, put back in. (The chicken may be shredded directly in the crock pot with two forks.) This may be done an hour before the soup is finished 3. Serve with the following: 4. tortilla chips (may be placed at the bottom of your bowl) 5. shredded cheddar cheese 6. sour cream. |
