1 scallion |
2 cups onions, chopped |
1 cup cilantro, chopped |
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped |
4 cups tomatoes, chopped |
2 cups tomatoe puree |
2 cups chicken broth or water |
1 tbsp paprika |
1 tsp cayenne pepper |
1 tsp oregano |
1 tsp salt |
1 tbsp garlic powder |
1 tsp sugar |
3 cups chicken |
Directions:
1. Saute scallions, onions, cilantro, and jalepenos until transparent. 2. Add tomatoes and spices. 3. Simmer 10 minutes. 4. Add puree and broth (or water). 5. Add chicken or shrimp. |
