Great twist on the BLT Ingredients:
6 flour tortillas |
12 pieces thick cut, peppered bacon |
2 medium tomatoes, chopped |
romaine lettuce, 6 full leaves (or shredded) |
1/4 c chopped fresh mushrooms |
1 red onion, diced |
1 red, yellow, or green bell pepper, seeded and chopped |
1 c shredded cheese, any flavor |
1/4 c real mayo |
1/4 c sour cream |
2 t ranch seasoning mix |
1/2 t red pepper flakes |
(sometimes i add a shake or two of taco seasononing and/or a dash of cumin) |
Directions:
1. Mix the mayo, sour cream, ranch and red pepper flakes, (and taco seasoningcumin if using) set aside 2. Cook bacon and lay on paper towel to drain 3. Spread ranch on tortillas 4. Layer Lettuce, 2 strips bacon, tomatoes, onion, mushroom, pepper and cheese 5. Roll up in tortilla, tucking one end under 6. **I cut the bacon into 2 inch pieces, and saute the onion, pepper and mushrooms with it** OR leave cold, your choice |
