Tortellini Broccoli Salad

My neighbor called me over and had me help make this up one Summer day. My daughter uses tomatoes, celery, carrots along with broccoli, instead. I have added pepperoni slices to make it a meal.
Ingredients:
2 bag/packets fresh cheese tortellini
1 head broccoli
1 head cauliflower
8-10 baby carrots
1 purple (red) onion
1 can black olives
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 large bottled ranch dressing (i use the big name brand)
Directions:
1. Boil tortellini as directed on package rinse and cool. (Add some ice)
2. Cut broccli, cauliflower into little florets, use stems for another use.
3. Chop the carrots and onion into 1 inch pieces.
4. Drain olives.
5. Drain noodles, pat dry.
6. Put all above ingredients into large bowl.
7. Pour into bottle of dressing over and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
8. You can use low/non-fat dairy and dressing if you like.
