So simple it's scary. Use any soup mix you would prefer if you don;t like onion. The sky's the limit. Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts; (with the bone) |
1 package dry onion-flavored soup mix |
squares of foil as a pocket for each breast |
Directions:
1. Skin the chicken breasts. Cut in half if large so the recipe is now 8 servings). 2. Place each breast in a square of foil and sprinkle some of the soup mix on it. (One packet of soup mix is enough for all four breasts; you can use any flavor dry soup you like, experiment! I like using onion mushroom or use a spicy mix). 3. Wrap the foil tightly around each breast and place in a crockpot, seam-side up. 4. Try to layer the chicken as best you can. 5. Cook 8-10 hours on low. 6. The chicken is super moist and flavorful and falls right off the bones. |
