A delightful wasabi dressing that I whipped up for coleslaw for Memorial Day but could be used in a vast variety of creations. If you want to increase the heat, add more wasabi or add red chili flakes. This can be used as a dressing, marinade, or dip. The possibilities are endless. Fish tacos, anyone? Ingredients:
1 cup seasoned rice vinegar |
1 cup honey |
2 tablespoons wasabi paste |
1 tablespoon peanut butter |
1 tablespoon light sesame oil |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
3 dashes dark sesame oil |
Directions:
1. Combine vinegar, honey, wasabi paste, peanut butter, light sesame oil, lime juice, soy sauce, black pepper, and dark sesame oil in the bowl of a stand mixer; mix until smooth, using whisk attachment. |
