Based on a recipe from the box my Tommy Bahama Ultra Premium Rum came in. It reminds us that the Zombie was introduced at the New York World’s Fair in 1939! Ingredients:
1 part dark rum (tommy bahama brand preferred) |
1 part light rum (tommy bahama brand preferred) |
1/3 part cherry brandy |
1/3 part apricot brandy |
1 part orange juice |
2 parts pineapple juice |
1/3 part lime juice |
splash almond syrup (orgeat) |
orange slice (garnish) |
lime slice (garnish) |
mint sprig (garnish) |
Directions:
1. Fill cocktail shaker with crushed ice. 2. Add all ingredients to shaker. 3. Shake and strain into a tall glass. 4. Garnish with slices of orange, lime and a sprig of mint. |
