A good cake with an odd ingredient! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 cup margarine |
4 eggs |
2 cans tomato soup |
4 cups flour |
4 tsp. baking powder |
2 tsp. baking soda |
2 tsp. nutmeg |
2 tsp. cinnamon |
2 tsp. cloves |
1 cup raisins |
1 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Blend sugar and margarine. 2. Add eggs and beat well. 3. Add tomato soup. 4. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and spices together. 5. Add to creamed mixture. 6. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. 7. Bake at 375 for approx. 35 minutes. 8. This cake is good with cream cheese or brown sugar icing! |
