A cake made with tomato soup. My mother made this for years. It's moist and just plain good!
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 can tomato soup
1/2 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup floured raisins
Directions:
1. Cream together sugar,shortening.
2. Add eggs, soup,and milk.
3. Sift together flour,baking powder, soda, cloves,cinnamon, salt.
4. Mix batters together.
5. Fold in raisins.
6. Pour into a greased floured 13x9 baking dish.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
