Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening
1 can tomato soup
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup nuts (your choice)
Directions:
1. CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR.
2. PUT BAKING SODA IN THE CAN OF SOUP.
3. STIR INTO SUGAR AND SHORTENING.
4. SIFT AND ADD DRY INGREDIENTS.
5. STIR IN RAISINS AND NUTS.
6. BAKE AT 350 IN A GREASED 9X12 INCH PAN FOR 30 MINUTES.
