Certainly not Gourmet fare, but a really Q&E great down-home comfort dessert. Plus it's fun to play guess the mystery ingredient . I have used either a confectioners sugar or a cream cheee frosting..both are good. Servings depend on how large you cut the bars Ingredients:
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup |
5 3/8 ounces cans water |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup raisins |
1 1/2 teaspoons allspice |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 16 x 20-inch pan. 2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. |
