Ingredients:
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup mushroom, sliced
3 ounces ham, diced
1/4 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/8 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 dash allspice
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can fat-free chicken broth
3 whole tomatoes, peeled
Directions:
1. Mix the onion, mushrooms, ham, oil, garlic, paprika, and allspice in a large pot. Cook for one minute.
2. Add the chicken broth, chickpeas, and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Puree soup in a blender and serve.
