1/2 small onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano |
1/4 cup red wine |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion and garlic in hot oil over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes, wine, and red pepper; simmer 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Add salt and basil. |
