Just a very simple tomato sauce recipe. Ingredients:
firm tomatoes or canned tomato, without seasonings |
clean jars |
Directions:
1. Remove peels and seeds. 2. Quarter tomatoes and place in a large kettle. 3. Using your hands or the back of a large spoon, press down on the tomatoes to render some juice. 4. Bake at 325 degrees until soft pulp remains. 5. Spoon into blender. 6. Blend until smooth. 7. Seal in sterilized jars or freeze. 8. NOTE: If freezing, try using ice cube trays. 9. 2 cubes equal approximately 1/4 cup. |
