This Williams-Sonoma salsa recipe has just the right amount of spices and heat to satisfy everyone. Putting the ingredients in a food processor really makes this an easy dish to make. Enjoy. Ingredients:
1/2 white onion, peeled and halved |
1/4 cup fresh lime juice |
1 1/2 lbs tomatoes, cored and quartered |
3 jalapenos, halved and seeded |
1 anaheim chili, quartered and seeded |
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro |
1 garlic clove |
salt, to taste |
fresh ground black pepper, to taste |
cayenne pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. In a food processor, process the onion to a fine dice and transfer to a small bowl and combine with lime juice. Let stand for 10 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, in the food processor, working in batches, process the tomatoes to a medium dice. Transfer to a bowl. 3. Process the jalapenos, anaheim chili, cilantro and garlic to a fine dice. Transfer to the bowl with the tomatoes. 4. Stir in the onion mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne. |
