I created this when we grew tired of the green tomato relish that most fish houses have. We live on a lake and eat a lot of Brim, Bass and Crappie. This makes a good side dish for just about anything. Ingredients:
4 ripe tomatoes, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped. |
1 tablespoon white vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. chop tomatoes. 2. chop onion. 3. seed and chop pepper. 4. mix together with vinegar and salt. 5. add more pepper if desired. 6. let stand in frig about 1 hour so flavors can blend. 7. cook time is chill time. |
