This is so easy and delicious with any type of meal. Ingredients:
4 lg. firm tomatoes (chopped and diced) |
1 cup mayonaisse |
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded) |
1/2 cup mozarella cheese (shredded) |
salt, pepper |
tbsp. sugar |
lots of oregano |
1 pie crust |
Directions:
1. Wash your tomatoes and squeeze out some of the juice from the tomatoes and dice them. I usually purchase a Pillsbury pie crust and I put that in my pie dish. Add you tomatoes to the UNCOOKED pie crust. Salt, pepper and sprinkle your sugar over the tomatoes. Now add a lot of oregano. Mix the mayo with the 2 different cheese and spread over the tomatoe mixture. 2. Bake at a 350 oven for approx. 30 min. or until nice and brown. 3. DELICIOUS!! |
