This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipe yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
6 cups tomato juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup orange juice |
1 lemon, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Cook onion in butter until tender. Add tomato juice and salt; bring to a boil. Add orange juice and heat to serving temperature. Serve, garnished with slice of lemon. |
