Tomato Mozzarella Vegetable Stack |

Trying to use up the tomatoes in my garden, I thought this was a different take on the usual tomato mozzarella salad. I have submitted it as cut from Kraft magazine, but I just drizzled extra virgin olive oil on mine and added salt and pepper, too! Read more ! Ingredients:
2 large tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices |
6 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into 6 slices |
1/3 cup italian dressing, divided |
6 slices red onion |
12 cucumber slices |
6 fresh basil leaves |
Directions:
1. Place 6 of the tomato slices on a platter; top each with 1 cheese slice. Drizzle with half of the dressing. 2. Top each with 1 onion slice, 2 cucumber slices and second tomato slice. 3. Drizzle with remaining dressing; top with basil. |
