If you have guests drop in suddenly and need a quick fix for dinner, here is an easy soup that might fill the bill. Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (i prefer red ones) |
2 tablespoons margarine |
1 (53 ounce) can pork and beans |
4 (15 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and bell pepper in margarine. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. |
